This extremely well preserved 1957 Fender Stratocaster is probably one of the nicest original finished Vintage Strats we have ever had. Super clean and shiny this guitar was hardly played over the last almost 70 years. The fingerboard shows very little wear, and the body has some scratches in the finish around the middle of the body. There is a light typical mark from the trem arm swing and some light dings on the back. Overall, it will be hard to find a nicer example especially for this price. The body and neck are both dated 5-57 and the pots are dated 15th week of 57. (3rd week of April) Even the original tweed case is in excellent clean condition. It has that amazing feeling 57 "V" shaped neck that measures .88" @ the 1st fret and .98" @ the 12th fret. It plays and sounds like a dream. Comes with the original strap, bridge cover and cable.
