This is a beautiful example of Marantz’s robust and elegant ’70s receivers. It has excellent sound quality, heavy duty construction, and everything works. The unit was serviced within the last 18 months at Audio Specialties in Portland OR. There it was given an LED light upgrade, cleaning, testing, minor repairs to a set of rear RCA jacks, and a clean bill of health. This unit has a gorgeous wood case over top of a second removable metal case (you can run it either way). All functions work and the unit is in really fine shape both aesthetically and functionally.

You can read more online about its stats, but essentially it’s a 25w receiver in quad, but I only ever ran it in bridged stereo — 70w conservatively, and probably more like 85-90w in reality. Great bass control and lush, rich tones.

I’m only selling this due to unforeseen bills. I’d love to keep it forever, but I don’t require it in my stereo chain, so it should go to someone who can fully utilize and appreciate it. Thanks for looking!
