The Yamaha V-5 is a quality student violin designed to give beginning and developing players a solid foundation. Its traditionally carved construction features a spruce top, maple back and sides, and an ebony fingerboard for a comfortable playing feel and a clear, balanced acoustic voice. This complete outfit includes a protective case and bow, making it a practical choice for lessons, school orchestra, home practice, or a player returning to the instrument. Yamaha’s consistent construction makes the V-5 an appealing alternative to an anonymous entry-level violin.
