Instead of clean, pristine summing, artists treat the KM-6B like an instrument. They plug vintage drum machines or soft synths into it and intentionally crank the input gain. The overloaded circuit forces the frequencies to clip in a uniquely musical way, providing a "fuzzy warmth" and thick harmonic saturation that digital plugins struggle to accurately replicate.
ATTENTION: This mixer was made in JAPAN and it works with 100V.
You can use it with USA 120V and it works fine, however, it's better to use a step down transformer (around $20) in order to protect the device and guarantee a long life.
ATTENTION: Because it's almost new and it has not been used frequently, some of the pots are a bit hard to turn, it would be great to put some lubricant on them to make it 100%.
This is truly a fantastic, unique mixer.
