Roland XV-5080 — 128-Voice Rack Synthesizer / Sound Module
This is a Roland XV-5080, considered by many the flagship rack sound module of Roland's PCM-synthesis era. 128-voice polyphony, true stereo waveforms per tone, powerful Matrix Control modulation, and studio-quality onboard effects (reverb, chorus, and multi-effects derived from Roland's SRV-3030 and RSS technology).
Expandable via 4 SRX-series and 4 SR-JV80-series wave expansion slots (sold separately unless included — see note below), with a built-in sampler (72-pin SIMM RAM and SCSI drive required, user-supplied). Outputs include 8 individual ¼" outs (A–D stereo pairs), R-Bus digital I/O, and S/PDIF optical/coaxial digital out. Full MIDI I/O (2 in, 1 out, 1 thru) and SCSI port for sample loading.
