For sale is a 1998 Gibson Flying V ’67 Reissue in classic Cherry finish, complete with its original Gibson hard case.

This is the late-’90s ’67 Reissue version of the Flying V, built around the classic set-neck construction and fitted with the factory high-output Gibson pickup set:

• Gibson 496R - neck
• Gibson 500T - bridge

The 496R / 500T combination is one of Gibson’s best-known higher-output pickup sets from this period. The 496R delivers a strong, articulate neck sound, while the ceramic 500T at the bridge provides plenty of output, attack and definition for hard rock and metal.

Condition

The guitar is in very good condition for its age and presents extremely well.

The Cherry finish has retained a deep, attractive color and the instrument shows normal signs of use consistent with a guitar from 1998.

There are two black decorative stripes applied to one of the wings. These are simply stickers added for visual effect. There is no crack or structural damage underneath them.

The guitar remains in its original specification and is fully functional and ready to play.
