Selling a Sterling by Music Man Sub Series Stingray (RAY4HH) in Chopper Blue
It is an dual humbucker active bass with a 2 band EQ on board.
The five pickup positions are:
1. Bridge pickup
2. Only the outer coils
3. Both pickups
4. Only the inner coils
5. Neck Pickup
Instrument is in borderline brand new condition. The original plastic protector is still on the rear cavity cover. There is a small scratch on the back of the neck near the 9th fret but it is hard to see and I barely notice it.
I recently modded the electronics because these models are known for being wired in a way that makes all 5 positions on the pickup switch sound very inconsistent. With the mod, all positions are much closer in volume and several of the positions sound much better than they did from the factory. The rest of the bass has been cleaned and properly set up, it is ready to play!
