AMEK / TAC Mixing Console Power Supply Unit — Vintage PSU (Working, Sold As-Is)

External power supply unit for AMEK / TAC vintage mixing consoles (Scorpion, Matchless, Bullet and related desks). 1980s British manufacture, rack-mountable steel chassis with heavy toroidal transformer and multi-pin output connector.

Two units available. Price is per unit.

IMPORTANT — please read before buying:

- Both units have been tested and deliver the correct voltages on all rails.

- The cooling fan is missing on both units.

- One of the two units is also missing its fuse holder.

- Sold as-is for repair, spare parts or as a donor / rebuild project. A replacement fan and fuse holder are inexpensive and easy to source.

Cosmetically the chassis show normal studio wear: scratches, marks and some paint loss. No structural damage.

These PSUs are increasingly hard to find, and a dead PSU is the most common reason a good AMEK or TAC console ends up unusable. A sensible spare to have if you own one of these desks.
