The e 609 Silver is a supercardioid dynamic microphone designed especially for close-miking guitar cabinets, and is also commonly used for drums and other high-SPL sources. Its flat, side-address design allows it to be positioned directly against or suspended in front of a guitar cabinet without requiring a traditional mic stand.
