Offered here is a John Packer JP251SW Bb Trumpet, featuring the highly regarded Smith-Watkins designed leadpipe, and presented in exceptionally clean condition with an unusually complete collection of original accessories and documentation.
This is a particularly attractive example of the JP251SW, with TWO COMPLETE SETS OF TUNING SLIDES, giving the new owner additional flexibility that is not normally found with a standard used example.

The horn has a beautiful, well-preserved brass/lacquer finish and presents extremely well. It should be listed in Excellent condition but there is one small dent, which is disclosed for complete accuracy; otherwise the trumpet is in excellent cosmetic condition.

Smith-Watkins Designed Leadpipe
One of the defining features of the JP251SW is its specially designed leadpipe developed in association with Smith-Watkins.
The Smith-Watkins design is intended to provide a responsive playing experience with good articulation, projection and control. The actual leadpipe on this trumpet is engraved "Leadpipe Designed by Smith Watkins," providing a nice point of authenticity for this version of the instrument.
Condition
This trumpet has been very well preserved and presents beautifully.
The lacquer/finish is exceptionally attractive with excellent overall appearance. The valves and slides should, of course, be evaluated by the buyer according to their own playing requirements.
As I mentioned above, there is one small dent on the instrument. It is disclosed here so there are no surprises for the buyer. Aside from this localized dent, the trumpet is in excellent condition.
