Yamaha YCL-CS Pro Clarinet for Service

Yamaha YCL-CS Professional Clarinet - made in Japan Serial # 001450 (2000). The CS is part of Yamaha’s top of the line 800 series of custom professional clarinets and features a slightly narrower bore with a longer straight section, resulting in a more concentrated and clearer tone. It is solid with perfect tenons. No cracks anywhere and the bell is very nice. It sounds amazing with excellent response throughout. The reason it is priced so reasonable is several keys show surface wear, as do a couple rings, there are a couple minor scuffs and though the pads are soft, seal and play ok, they show some discoloration. As the pictures show, it is still an attractive instrument. Includes a rare Charles Bay Equalizer II MO-L mouthpiece #99/417 (a tiny edge chip), Rovner deluxe ligature and cap, and a nice case to protect it. This instrument should be serviced with pads and key refinish)
