1958 Gibson Flying V Case Replica
The case is made using 1958 Gibson Lifton cases.
We strip the inner lining then put the case in the bathtub to get the outer lining to come off. Then dry it out and apply it to the Flying V Case that is built from 3/8" plywood - sturdy enough to take it on the road and your Roadies won't be able to break your guitar. (The original 1958 cases were made out of Luwan ply. They were pretty flimsy.)
It takes up to 4 Lifton cases to get enough material to cover the inside and outside of this replica case.
All lining, covering and hardware are from 1958.
