Trident Trimix Late 1970s

Priced to sell. This was the console at Old Soul Studios in Catskill, NY from 2001 until 2025 when we upgraded to a Rupert Neve Designs 5088 board. It has 18 modules and a jukebox monitor section making it possible to work great with a 24 track tape machine. Comes with 2 power suppliies. The 2 buss has its own separate upgraded power supply built by Tech It Out. From Chip Verspyck (tech) “I upgraded the center section to higher grade chips.  Did a lot of recapping. The whole console got a recap.” This Trimix- unlike most others I’ve seen- has a built in patchbay and a producer‘s desk making it the best version of a Trimix that I know of.

As of now the console and power supplies work. Note: It is being sold AS IS. This console needs to be gone through by a tech to replace any and all necessary caps etc as we hadn’t serviced the board for a while before the upgrade. The mic pres and eqs on this board sound great. Records by artists such as RATATAT, The New Pornographers, Beirut, Langhorne Slim and at least 100 others have been recorded through this board. It needs a good home. The board was once owned by Annie Lennox before we owned it.
Pick it up in Catskill, NY would be best case scenario. Shipping it might be possible.
