Up for sale is this vintage 1957 Fender Champ lap steel electric guitar. We always love when these show up in our world, especially when they're sporting the original tweed cases and they haven't been robbed for parts over the years...

This instrument is all original and in nice condition for its age. The original pickup sounds great and the original pots date to early 1957. The knobs, tuners, and bridge cover are all present and intact as well. The original finish shows fairly heavy wear and some light flaking (although it's mostly stable) around the edges. We have tried to capture the worst of this in the photos.

This one has just been gone over by our tech who cleaned it up a bit and sprayed out the electronics, it really didn't need much. Everything works as it should and it's an absolute joy to have around.

The original tweed hardshell case is included and is in good condition although it does show heavy wear from years of transporting and protecting the instrument. One latch is busted (the closest to the headstock) but the other two are perfectly functional and the original handle and the hinges are intact. The instrument will be well-packed inside and out to ensure safe shipping.
