The Dieter Otto 166 is a less-common and highly-underrated horn model.
It has a lovely sound that strikes the right balance between light and dark. Great horn for someone looking for horn that can blend with any section.
This one is on the slightly older side of the production of Otto horns, but it has a brand new leadpipe straight from the manufacturer. This one does have the latest version of their interchangeable tuning bits, which allow you to use a US or a Euro Shank mouthpiece in the leadpipe with the correct depth. This one currently only has the US bit, but you can order the Euro one fairly easily from the manufacturer or a vendor.
Very nice-playing horn at an attractive price. Ready for its next owner.
