Twisted Electrons THERAPSID MK1 - Black

THIS IS A RARE THERAPSID MK1 MODULE FROM TWISTED ELECTRONS

ITS HAD LIGHT USE IN A SMOKE FREE HOME STUDIO.

Released in 2014, TherapSID MK1 is a desktop MIDI synthesizer made by Twisted Electrons. It is based on the famous SID (Sound Interface Device) sound chip originally used in the Commodore 64 home computer, giving it the classic 8-bit and chiptune sound associated with 1980s computer games and demos.

Key features of the MK1 include:

SID chip-based sound generation (6581, 8580, or compatible replacements such as SwinSID).

Three oscillators/voices that can operate as a monosynth or in a 3-voice paraphonic mode (this will need a firmware update).

Extensive hands-on control with dedicated knobs and buttons for shaping the SID sound.

MIDI connectivity for use with keyboards, sequencers, and DAWs.

Audio input allowing external sounds to be processed through the SID filter.
