Oberheim DMX, fully functional and ready to use.
Serviced by Oberheim guru Paul White at Electrongate in December 2020 — a full going-through including a power supply rebuild, replacement of several out-of-spec components, a new display module, and a cleaning of all switches and channel faders. Paul also installed one of his own Electrongate MIDI boards during that service, drilling the rear panel and mounting the jacks himself. That work was done by Electrongate, not by a previous owner. The full service invoice is available on request.
It has worked perfectly since, with no issues of any kind.
Cosmetically it's very clean, with only a handful of surface scuffs you'd expect on an instrument of this age.
I'm definitely going to regret selling this one, but it hasn't been getting enough use lately to justify keeping it, and I'd rather it go to someone who'll have it in their daily workflow. It plays and sounds exactly as it should.
Will be professionally packed and insured.
