Purchased in 2006 though I'm not sure of the date. I play guitar and banjo and wanted to learn Mandolin, but never tried. this lovely instrument has never been played as it should have been. I have taken very good care of it and it has a wonderful safe case .
Serial # 4950 . Eastman told me it was probably purchased around 2006..
The color is classic gloss finish. All of the features are identical to the new MD 605 except the tuners are a different brand. It has the original strings. I am including a new set of XT 1140 Phosphor bronze strings. If you need a list of all the I would be glad to send them to you. .
