Marshall Lead 12 Model 3005 Mini Full Stack – Black
Classic vintage Marshall mini stack from the original British-made Lead 12 series. This is the desirable Model 3005, consisting of the 12-watt solid-state Lead 12 head plus two matching Marshall 1x10 speaker cabinets.
This is the real 1980s-era Made in England version—not one of the later imported miniature Marshall stacks. The Model 3005 was produced approximately 1985–1991 and is essentially the head version of Marshall’s 5005 Lead 12 combo. Period examples were originally paired with 1x10 cabinets using Celestion G10D-25 speakers.
The Lead 12 has developed a following because of its surprisingly convincing classic Marshall crunch at manageable volume. Controls are simple and useful: Gain, Volume, Treble, Middle and Bass, along with separate Low and High inputs. The head also provides Direct Out and Headphone connections.
The rear panel identifies this example as Model 3005 – 12W Lead Head, Made in England by Jim Marshall Products Ltd., Bletchley, Milton Keynes. It is the 120V version and provides two loudspeaker outputs rated for 12W/8 ohms.
Cosmetically, this stack presents very nicely from the front, with the classic black Marshall covering, black grille cloth, white piping and Marshall logos. There is age-appropriate wear, particularly on the rear cabinet panels, corner hardware and other areas visible in the photos. The photographs are an important part of the description.

Period specifications put each component at roughly 14¾” wide, with the head about 7” high and the cabinets about 15¼” high. Complete stacks are roughly 38 lb before packing.
