This type represents the final phase of the Old Stamp era; unlike the IVa, where "MADE IN TURKEY" follows a gentle curve, the IVb features the text stamped to follow the curve of the crescent moon. Another identifying mark is the "J"-like stamp found at the left end of the Arabic characters.

Although it has a substantial weight of 2,836g, it offers a soft response that belies its mass, combined with a solid, defined core tone.
