I ordered this for a bass build which you can see in the pictures from Cerrarini guitars in Italy, when I wanted to build a Meteora styled bass. The finish is just a stain over an ash body so you can see the wood grain come through. Body comes with custom pick guard.
There are 2 issues with the body. 1 pickup screw broke and had to dig it out and fill the hole. does not affect looks or mounting a pickup. Secondly the neck holes are aligned but are not perfect as I didn’t have a drill press. However any 2 1/2” fender neck will mount perfectly. Both issues are not seen when the bass is built.
I’m moving this along as I lived the uniqueness of the bass, but it is on the heavier side at about 6lbs.
