This 1999 Gibson Earl Scruggs Standard Banjo is a superb example of the classic bluegrass banjo, built in tribute to one of the most influential players in the history of the instrument. Designed with Earl Scruggs’ legendary style and preferences in mind, it delivers the unmistakable combination of power, clarity, snap, and projection that bluegrass players look for.
This MASTERTONE is in very good condition with some aging on the hardware and inlay on the headstock. It has some small scratches and minor dings but nothing major. A Shubb 5th String caop was added and works great. Plenty of fret life left and plays like a dream! Included is a non-original deluxe hardshell case.
