The Pendletone Effects Sunset Strip Boost is a low-gain transistor boost/preamp built for players who want a simple, useful level boost without turning the pedal into a control panel.

There’s one control: LEVEL. Turn it clockwise for more output, set it where your rig wants it, and get back to playing.

That simplicity is the whole idea. Sunset Strip isn’t trying to be an overdrive with the gain turned down, and it doesn’t give you multiple voicings, EQ controls, or modes to manage. It’s a straightforward transistor boost with one job.

The original prototype predates the current Pendletone product-development process and has lived on my main board since it was built. It stayed there because it kept being useful.
