Vintage API 553 Inductor Equalizers for 500 Series. Very Close Serials

Up for sale is a pair of vintage API 553 Inductor EQs for the 500 Series format. Both are in excellent condition, fully functional, and extremely clean for their age. Please see the photos for the actual condition.

Both modules have their original API Huntington 2520 op amps. These are genuine vintage API modules—not modern reissues—and are a great opportunity to pick up a very clean pair with the original 2520s still intact.

Everything works exactly as it should, and they have been well cared for. I’m only selling these as a pair and will not separate them.

The only reason I’m selling is to downsize some of my studio gear. I already have another pair of 553s, so these simply aren't getting the use they deserve. I'd rather see them go to a studio where they'll actually get put to work.

I have a perfect Reverb rating as both a buyer and seller and take good care of my equipment. I describe my gear as accurately as possible and pack everything carefully for shipping.
