- It was this type of cymbal that put Sabian on the map 45 years ago while the fledgling company was trying to overtake big brother - literally! Those earlier Sound Controls really garnered attention from cymbal enthusiasts, they offered more control and more of an ON TOP stick attack than what Zildjian was slinging.
- Famously tight and bright stick attack that floats on top of a controlled wash and even taper.
- Very CLEAN stick attack but not brittle. It’s mellowed 40 years and offers a warm tone with a light brightness.
- This beauty has a great solid rounded over that cuts extremely well - especially for a mellower Sound Control and it also lends a bit more complexity to the wash - just a pinch.

A 3263 gram weight gives it a medium to medium heavy constitution and ensures a tight articulated definition and tone.
- This is an incredibly versatile 22” - Main Tight Bright Ride with an incredible BELL - extremely solid!
