Up for sale is my 1984 Gibson Explorer EXP83 with ebony fretboard. I purchased this eaier this year from another seller and yes, I am using his photos as they are phenomenal! If any potential buyers wish to see more photos or different photos, I’ll happily take some.
This is the same model/year as James Hetfield's legendary explorer as seen in Messengers book(The book is not included). It has been refinished back to it's original color with nitro finish In the 80's. It has era correct EMG 81/60 on board. Also this guitar has been refreted at some point. There are few dents and finish flaws but over all it's in excellent condition. As the gentleman who sold it to me said; “It plays amazing and sound wise this is exactly what you think it is...“
