Julian Lage's premier signature model, the Collings 470 JL Antiqued Blonde pairs hollow-body resonance with solid-body feedback resistance through a fully hollow, trestle-blocked design. Built with a carved maple laminate top over solid Honduran mahogany back and sides, it's outfitted with dual custom Ron Ellis Ellisonics pickups, a genuine Bigsby B3 vibrato, and a pinned ebony Tune-o-Matic bridge. The symmetrical C/V neck profile and 24 7/8" scale deliver comfortable playability, while the ultra-thin antiqued nitrocellulose lacquer finish delivers a broken-in feel and full wood response. Sonic character blends the airy midrange warmth of a semi-hollow with the immediate clarity and snap of a vintage single-coil electric. This pre-owned example is in excellent condition and includes the original hard shell case.
