This Great River ME-1NV Desktop Microphone Preamp is in Excellent (MINT!) condition, both cosmetically and operationally. I purchased it new from Sweetwater and it has only been used a few times in my home studio. It includes its original packaging, Manual, power cord, etc.
The ME-1NV is a single-channel mic preamp known for modernizing classic 70s vintage British circuit design. This desktop unit, which is also rackable, features two discrete Class-A gain stages, including Great River's exclusive dual gain-stage meters. A front-panel DI input jack is routed via a unique FET and BJT buffer through the input transformer, designed to provide excellent sound for Hi-Z instruments. The preamp also utilizes a discrete high-current Class-A "big iron" transformer-coupled output amplifier, making it a versatile tool for enhancing both microphones and instruments.
The ME-1NV has an internal power supply, which can be adjusted for operation on any power grid (100-240V AC) by changing the fuse and adjusting the voltage selector.
