The rock Gods have spoken, and I’m afraid that as I’ve let that dream go….so goes the inevitable thinning of the herd!
If I had more room or more talent, I’d keep this incredibly awesome custom built (by a very talented buddy of mine) to as close to possible spec of a 1970’s Orange cabinet: this cabinet is built with the same Birch plywood, same Tolex, hardware and handles as an Orange PPC412, but it’s actually two separately built/stacked 16 ohm cabinets that combine to 8 ohms in stereo….and it has great casters!
The “top cabinet” is a 4x10 with 4 made in the USA Warehouse Guitar Speaker “Green Beret” 25 watt speakers that mimic (dare I say, sound better?) than Celestion Greenbacks.
The “bottom cabinet” is a 1x15 Celestion “Longback”150 watt speaker that is essentially a super powerful version of the Celestion Greenback.
Local pickup in Birmingham, AL only and I’m open to reasonable offers!
