The Taylor 812ce brings the flagship Taylor experience into a more intimate Grand Concert body, making it an especially rewarding choice for players who want rich acoustic character without the size of a dreadnought. Its solid spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides create a beautifully balanced voice, with warm, resonant lows, crisp trebles, and lush overtones that bloom as you dig in. It has the clarity and touch sensitivity to make fingerstyle playing incredibly expressive, while still offering plenty of presence for strumming and flatpicking.
The compact body feels wonderfully comfortable against you, and adds another level of refinement to the playing experience. Taylor’s V-Class bracing helps the 812ce produce impressive volume and sustain, allowing individual notes to remain clear while chords develop with a smooth, musical richness. A smoky ebony fingerboard, maple binding, abalone rosette, and super-thin full-body gloss finish give the guitar an understated elegance that lets the beautiful tonewoods and clean Taylor design do the talking.
When it’s time to plug in, the built-in Expression System 2 electronics preserve the 812ce’s dynamic character and make it equally at home onstage or in the studio. This is a guitar that rewards a light touch but has plenty of headroom when you want to push it, making it remarkably versatile across styles and playing approaches. The Taylor 812ce is a refined, comfortable, and highly expressive acoustic-electric for players who want premium Taylor tone in a compact and exceptionally playable package. Available now at Haggerty’s Music.
