Nuova Elettronica Guitar Sound Processor (Italy, 1980s) – Vintage Multi-Effect FX Processor Machine in very good conditions! With schematics! Super Rare!

We are selling this super rare and impossible to find Nuova Elettronica Guitar Sound Processor, a cool multi-effect processor unit made in Italy in 1980s.

These were sold as kits via mail order from the magazine Nuova Elettronica, a subscription magazine that offered build-it-yourself kits of all kinds of gear, hi-fi amplifiers and short-wave radios, but also music gear such as drum machines, a couple of synths and effect pedals.

This unit is fully working and in very good cosmetical condition for its age! There’s a knob on the right-hand side, but turning it doesn’t seem to do anything, so we’re not sure what it’s supposed to control-

Super rare: try to find another in this condition!

You can combine: CLEAN (guitar), DISTORTION, FLANGER, SPEED/FLANGER, ECHO, DELAY, CHORUS and MASTER.

IMPORTANT: the Chorus only affects the Delay repeats, not the dry signal. So you have to combine Echo/Delay/Chorus together to find your sound. This kit was just designed that way. We enclose the diagrams and a PDF copy of the general information (in Italian) with the sale.

Flanger and Distortion are very beautiful indeed. The Echo/Delay/Chorus section is a bit weirder: a vintage gem for those looking for unique sounds.

This Sound Processor can be obviously used as a guitar effects processor, but work perfectly fine on other instruments. It could be a great helper for organs or cheap string machines or poly-synths that need some flanging and muddy repeats.

This is your chance to get your hands on a truly super rare (and impossible to find!) multi-effect unit. Very hard to let this one go, but it's not getting enough use and it's just time to move on.
