A great utility mic by a great company. Designed in the US and handmade in Russia using lathes customized from the Kalishnikov factory'-) Featuring the 023 Bomblet capsule, this cardiod mic is excellent on drums, electric and acoustic guitars, strings, horns and vox.

According to Tape Op magazine, "The Soyuz 1973 is an excellent mic, especially if your sonic goal is clarity and articulation... it certainly has the midrange focus that can cut through a mix.
