2025 Gibson Custom Shop Wildwood Spec 59 Les Paul Standard. Comfortable neck shape, .88 to .99. Wildwood spec Custombuckers measure 7.3 ohms, A3, non potted. Clear and articulate tone. No fret wear, small chip near jack plate probably from guitar stand. Weighs 8,68 lbs. I will attest that Wildwood spec guitars pay extra attention to detail. For instance the binding on the neck is perfectly smooth with the wood. Here's some words from Wildwood.
All great guitars start with great woods, so our resident Gibson expert visited the Custom Shop to hand-pick each and every top and fretboard. Of course, such high-quality woods also produce exceptional resonance and sustain. Our friends at the Custom Shop then used hide glue to attach each piece of wood together. It's a protein-based adhesive that promotes the greatest possible energy transfer between two pieces of wood. This results in maximum resonance and sustain. We also requested that Gibson use Wildwood Spec pickups in these beasts, they have all of the qualities we covet in old-school PAFs: warm, clear low-end, upper-midrange snarl, low-mid growl, and sweet, singing highs. If you're a fan of the medium-chunky rounded '59 neck profile, you will be blown away by these guitars. Gibson took great pains to ensure these guitars felt authentic, and as a result, their '59s have the same sort of spectacular playability that drew players like Jimmy Page to them in the first place.
