G-System - superb quality effects all editable and stored to specific illuminated footswitches for easy on stage selection. Many of the footswitches also double as editing controls ( rotate ) Effects include delays, reverbs , modulation effects ( chorus, flange, tremelo, phase etc . Many more - except overdrive/ distortion. For those effects you can add up to 4 external pedals to be selectible on the board with the four 'LOOP 'switches. Included with this unit ( in its flight case ) is an external 10u rack bag which holds the 1u 'Brain' unit and also in the rack a pull out drawer in which you can locate up to 4 pedals ( I used distortion pedals for a choice of overdrive sounds ). Connect these to the LOOP systems ( and use the 4 onboard 9v psu outputs ( 18v available too ) to power the pedals - leave switched on and then select one or more distortion pedals by one of the G-System's LOOP switches on the board itself. The floorboard connects to the rack unit via a 30 foot USB cable in the back of the 1u 'brain'. Great if you want to keep the pedals and rack unit handy at the side of the stage for quick tweaks of distortion pedal levels and tone etc. Otherwise all control is on the floorboard. Really easy and intuitive to use once set to your personal taste. Neat , compact size for floor space.
