The CR-8000 sits alongside the TR-808 and TR-606 as one of Roland's classic analog drum machines, but with its own character - fully analog sound generation, programmable patterns, and a set of drum voices (bass drum, snare, toms, rimshot, hi-hat, cymbal, and more) that have found their way onto countless electro, synth-pop, and experimental recordings. It also features CV/gate/trigger outputs, making it a strong fit for integrating into modular or vintage analog rigs.
