The DBX 162SL Purple Series Stereo Compressor/Limiter is a premium fully analog dynamics processor designed for recording, mixing, and mastering. The 162SL features dual proprietary dbx VCA modules and delivers the punch and control dbx compressors are known for, with excellent transparency and low distortion.

Each channel provides control over Threshold, Ratio, Attack, Release, and Output Gain, along with selectable Hard Knee and dbx OverEasy® compression. Channels can operate independently or stereo-linked, making it an excellent choice for drums, bass, vocals, instrument buses, and stereo mix-bus applications. Additional features include PeakStopPlus® limiting, Jensen® output transformers, sidechain capability, balanced connections, and large analog VU meters.

This unit is in excellent condition and has been carefully maintained. It has been used exclusively in my smoke-free private studio and has never been used in the field or toured. A great opportunity to own a high-end dbx analog compressor.
