For sale is a 1979 Fender Twin Reverb 135-Watt Silverface tube combo amplifier in excellent condition.
This amp retains its original matching CTS 12" speakers (both dated 15th week of 1979) and original Schumacher transformers, making it a highly original example of Fender's legendary ultra-linear Twin Reverb era.
The cabinet has been recovered in fresh black tolex and some new official Fender hardware, giving it a clean appearance while maintaining its vintage character.

Condition
The amp is in excellent overall condition and sounds exactly as a great Twin Reverb should: huge clean headroom, sparkling highs, rich lows, and plenty of volume for stage, studio, or pedal platforms. This Twin Reverb retains its original matching CTS speakers and original Schumacher transformers. It is equipped with Sovtek 6L6GB power tubes and is fully functional with strong output, lush spring reverb, and classic Fender vibrato. The foot switch RCA connectors were replaced due to age-related wear. The “roach” for the vibrato was also replaced in the amp head. These repairs were performed to restore reliable operation. The reverb and vibrato features function properly.
All controls function properly, and the amp has been well cared for throughout its life.
