A thumpin' good Precision Bass!
If you could only use one bass, it would have to be a Precision. The defining sound of so many records, across so many genres, it's simplicity and ability to slot into a mix makes it truly hard to beat. This particular example, dating between 1999 and 2002, is a CIJ PB62-53, from Fender Japan! Composed of a lightweight basswood body in combination with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard, these examples really match the aesthetics of what they're trying to recreate. Fender Japan PB-Vintage pickups are present, in addition to a 72.5" fretboard radius and 34" scale length. Other noteworthy feature include a strap pin on the back of the headstock as well as an early '60s style-logo. A great player, ready for many gigs and recording sessions!
Cosmetic condition is fair, with noticeable signs of wear present throughout. There are signs of finish splitting and cracking throughout the body, mainly located on the side near the output and around the belly carve. Dings and scratches, as well as the outlines of previous stickers are present. There are some noticeable dings to the both sides of the neck where finish has come off. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a medium action. No case or gig bag included.
* Please note a 10% Reverb & PayPal fee has been added to the listing price.
