Built in Kalamazoo, this original 1969 Gibson J-45 features a solid Sitka spruce top over solid mahogany back and sides, delivering the dry, woody, and punchy acoustic response characteristic of late '60s Gibson acoustics.
The solid mahogany neck features an unbound rosewood fretboard with pearloid dot inlays and a comfortable medium "C" profile. Hardware includes the original rosewood belly-below bridge with an adjustable saddle, double-line "Three-on-a-plate" tuners, and tortoise shell pickguard. Includes a non-original hardshell case.
Overall, this guitar is in good condition for it's age. There are visible dings and signs of use across the body and on the back of the neck, but nothing that affects the tone or playability of the instrument. The guitar is setup nicely and isn't any trouble to play at all.
