Genuine Pearl SST-5042 Stainless Steel Tension Rods – Lot of 16
Original Pearl SST-series tension rods for snare drum applications. These are Pearl SST-5042 42mm stainless steel tension rods, supplied as a lot of 16 rods.
Pearl's SST tension rods are made from 304 stainless steel, rather than conventional chrome-plated mild steel, providing excellent strength, corrosion resistance, and durability for professional drum applications.
These are genuine Pearl components and an excellent choice for restoring a Pearl snare, replacing missing or damaged SST rods, or for a custom drum build requiring this size.

Fitment
The SST-5042 is used in various Pearl professional snare drum applications. Tension-rod requirements can vary with shell depth, lug design, hoop type and lug placement, so please verify that 42mm is the correct length for your drum before purchasing.
These use the common #12-24 drum tension-rod thread and may also fit compatible non-Pearl drums using the same thread, but compatibility should be verified by the buyer.
Condition
Very good pre-owned condition with normal light cosmetic evidence of installation and handling. Threads appear clean. Please review the detailed photographs for exact condition.
Important: 15 rods include their black washer. One rod is missing the washer.
