The MXR Dime Distortion (DD11) is a high‑gain distortion pedal built to deliver aggressive, razor‑sharp tones with plenty of punch and sustain — perfect for players who want to cut through with powerful rhythm and lead sounds. Originally inspired by the iconic attitude of guitarist Dimebag Darrell, this stompbox gives you a heavy distortion voice with strong presence and control.
Equipped with a three‑band EQ (Bass, Mid, Treble) and a unique Scoop switch that dips the mids for extreme, scooped‑mid metal tones, the Dime Distortion lets you shape everything from tight, aggressive crunch to utter saturated mayhem. Whether you’re playing palm‑muted chugs, high‑gain leads, or full‑on metal riffs, this pedal can push your amp into fiercely distorted territory while still maintaining clarity across the strings.
