Rare factory Custom Order Nik Huber Krautster II featuring a fully documented Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, Sterling Silver Ring inlays, Spanish Cedar body and a beautifully figured Flame Maple neck. Exceptionally lightweight at only 2.56 kg / 5.64 lbs.
This is not a standard-specification Krautster II.
The original Nik Huber Certificate specifically documents this guitar as a Custom Order for its body wood, fingerboard wood, inlays and tinted back, making it a particularly distinctive example of the model.
One of its most important features is the genuine Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, clearly stated on the original Nik Huber Certificate and accompanied by the relevant CITES/documentation.
The fingerboard is further complemented by factory Sterling Silver Ring inlays, rather than the standard dot configuration, giving the guitar a subtle but unmistakably high-end appearance.
The body is crafted from Spanish Cedar and finished in Worn Onyx Black / Open Pore, with a beautifully contrasting Tinted Back and cream front binding.
The neck is made from highly figured Flame Maple, with particularly striking figuring visible along the back of the neck and headstock transition.
At only:
2.56 kg / 5.64 lbs
the guitar is remarkably light and extremely comfortable, especially for a solid-body, set-neck instrument of this type.

The guitar was individually custom ordered and required approximately nine months of build/waiting time.
