I inherited this guitar (and others) from a friend and bandmate who passed away. I can't keep them all, so I'm selling a few, including this beauty. I've done the best I can with the details, but I don't know the guitar's full history.
According to the serial number, this guitar should be a 1999. It's an HSS, with a great sounding Seymour Duncan humbucker in the bridge (I believe it's the Pearly Gates). The cool black marbled pickguard is not original. The original is included (see photos). I believe that my friend also lined the body cavity to limit 60 cycle hum. Other than that, I believe it's original.
It feels great to play and sounds wonderful. The neck pickup is super Stratty, the middle positions are sweet, and the humbucker in the bridge is beefy and smoothy.
This will be a great guitar for somebody.
Edit: I’ve relisted this item as “good” after I noticed some fret wear in the lower frets. I’ve re-priced it accordingly. It still plays perfectly, but the wear is visible. See photos
