From a large collection. This 1972 Gibson ES335TD is an excellent example of what a 335 should be. It is in original condition and has the cool "Gibson" embossed pickup covers. I personally love the way these pickups feel and sound. The neck is dead straight with a perfect refret with correct, Gibson style wire. Plays amazingly well with action at 4/64" for both E strings @ 12th fret. Bends are articulate and clean without any buzz out. The fingerboard is beautifully colored. Nice weight at 7 lbs. 12oz. The lacquer as aged nicely with the binding turning to an amber color. It's a 44 year old guitar that could go on tour tomorrow. Has a few minor finish imperfections. It retains the original label in the body. The case is also original. Likely the best deal on a vintage 335 from this era online now.
