Nice early 2010s version that was made not long after production was moved to China - when production quality was still reasonably good.
This model is the sought after fretless version in gloss black finish. The modern 4 string versions are in satin black and mark up with grease and sweat really easily and have that horrible tacky thumb bar. I think the gloss is only available on the the 5 string version currently, so these earlier versions a cut above the modern iteration. The body is in great condition, with no chips or dents and minimal wear to finish.
The bass features high quality fishman electronics with controls sitting neatly in the rim if the sound hole. So no unsightly EQ panel spoiling the lines of the instrument. This bass has strap buttons fitted to the body and at the heel of the neck, with an ebony fretboard and features fret dots on the neck edge. Neck adjustment and electronics all work as they should.
