Original vintage TC Electronic Sustain + Parametric Equalizer, Made in Denmark, serial #209721.

This is the original early TC Electronic Sustain + Parametric Equalizer — not the later Classic reissue. These original Danish units combine a high-quality analog compressor/sustainer with a sweepable parametric EQ and are among the more unusual and sophisticated early TC guitar pedals.

Eric Johnson's, Bill Frisell's and David Gilmour's "secret weapon." Has had a thorough cleaning and works well. It also comes with a fresh 9V battery AND a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power to Tip Positive power cable to allow you to run it off your current power brick.

About the circuit:
The original Sustain + Parametric Equalizer is considerably more sophisticated than a typical vintage compressor. Its analog circuitry combines an OTA-based compressor/sustainer with active parametric equalization, allowing the player to control both the dynamics and the specific frequency range emphasized or reduced.

It is capable of everything from subtle always-on compression and tone enhancement to very heavy sustain, clean funk compression, vocal lead tones, and precise frequency shaping.

The original Danish Sustain+ has become increasingly collectible, especially clean, fully operational examples such as this one. I have two of these. Buy them both and I'll throw in the TC Electronic Power Supply pictured in the last photo.
