This 1966 Fender Telecaster in original Candy Apple Red finish with a Rare Maple Cap fingerboard !
The original finish on the body, back of neck, and headstock, original pickups/electronics, original hardware, and original case - Only upgrade is a refret and fingerboard overspray, which make it infinitely more playable.
- Year: 1966, supported by the neck date, 1966 pot codes, and serial number 171988.
- Model: Fender Telecaster, with a maple-cap/maple fingerboard.
- Body: Alder, original finish.
- Neck: Maple, original finish on the back; comfortable C profile.
- Fingerboard: Maple, refretted and oversprayed.
- Pickups/electronics: Original Fender single-coils and electronics; pot codes date to 1966. Pickup readings of 6.1k and 6.0k are consistent with vintage Tele pickups.
- Hardware: Original.
- Case: Original Fender hardshell case
- Condition: Honest vintage wear, including checking, edge wear, buckle rash, worn neck finish, and faded gold headstock lettering.
