Dave Smith Instruments Evolver Desktop – Excellent Condition

Fully functional, in very good overall condition, and kept in a smoke-free environment. It has a few minor marks from normal use, but nothing that affects its operation.

The Evolver is a genuinely unique Dave Smith design — a hybrid monosynth combining two analog oscillators with two digital oscillators featuring Prophet VS waveforms, all routed through Curtis analog low-pass filters.

It can cover classic analog territory extremely well, but its real strength is how far you can push it. The deep modulation matrix, digital oscillators, feedback paths, tuned delay lines, sequencer, and extensive routing possibilities make it an exceptional machine for complex textures, evolving sounds, unusual sequences, and experimental sound design.

It has a character and architecture that still feel quite unlike most modern hybrid synths.

Prophet-style knobs are currently installed. The original knobs are included as well, except for one missing knob.

Included:

  • Evolver Desktop
  • Prophet-style knobs installed
  • Original knobs (one missing)
  • Power supply
