I have been collecting Gibson guitars for 52 years, and this is the nicest SG/Les Paul Custom I have ever seen, played, or owned. A total winner all the way.

Only 298 were made in 1962, the best year of production for this model. This example is extremely easy to play and is a remarkably playable guitar.

I do not see any buckle marks on the back. The only marks I can find are a couple of tiny, tiny, tiny chips. The gold is extremely well preserved. It is almost impossible to imagine this guitar being cleaner or more stable.

A perfect, pristine, top collector grade example. Maybe the best.

A beautiful double cutaway with pointed horns and the iconic sideways Vibrola. Untouched electronics.

Wow.
