Ceriatone Lightning 15 Watt Amp Head

The Ceriatone Lightning is a compact 15-watt valve guitar amplifier based on the classic Matchless Lightning circuit, delivering articulate cleans, rich harmonic overdrive and the lively, touch-sensitive response associated with EL84-powered British-style amplifiers.

Hand-wired with point-to-point construction, the Lightning keeps things refreshingly straightforward with two inputs and controls for Volume, Treble, Bass and Master Volume. The simple control layout provides plenty of range, from bright and dynamic clean tones through to crunchy, harmonically rich overdrive as the Volume is pushed.

A pair of EL84 power valves delivers 15 watts of output, while three 12AX7 valves handle the preamp stages. The rear panel provides two speaker outputs with selectable 4Ω, 8Ω and 16Ω impedance, along with a useful Line Out for integrating the amp into a wider recording or live setup.

Housed in an attractive wooden head enclosure, the Lightning combines classic boutique-inspired valve circuitry with Ceriatone's well-regarded hand-wired construction.
